4. Mitsubishi Electric Corporation

Verified role: Japanese factory-automation manufacturer supplying GOT industrial HMI terminals.
Mitsubishi Electric belongs on an industrial procurement list, not a general consumer-monitor shortlist. Its official FA site publishes the current GOT families and PCAP options on newer wide models. Buyers should compare controller compatibility, software licensing, replacement lifecycle and the exact panel series.
- Relevant products: GOT3000, GOT2000 and GOT SIMPLE operator terminals, wide-screen and panel-mounted HMIs, remote monitoring and FA connectivity
- Verified base: Corporate headquarters in Tokyo; GOT HMI activity is associated with Nagoya Works in Nagoya, Aichi

Japan-specific validation sequence
- Define whether the deliverable is a sensor, bonded module, finished monitor, HMI or complete computer; these are not interchangeable.
- Freeze the mechanical drawing, active area, cover glass, touch controller, interfaces, operating temperature, glove/water behaviour and required Japanese documentation.
- Run optical, EMC, ESD, cleaning-agent, vibration and endurance tests on the exact pilot unit.
- Confirm manufacturing site, approved component list, PCN/EOL notification, firmware ownership and last-time-buy process.
- Assign domestic delivery, field service, repair turnaround, spares and warranty to named legal entities.
FAQ
Are all eight companies Japanese manufacturers?
No. Seven have verified Japanese corporate or operating bases, but their roles range from sensor and module manufacturing to monitor and HMI supply. Lucky-XFC is a China-based overseas OEM and is not presented as having a Japanese facility.
Which supplier type is best for factory equipment?
Start with the required integration level. DMC and Nissha address touch components; EIZO supplies finished monitors; Mitsubishi Electric supplies automation HMIs; Nagano Tectron covers custom interface assemblies; JDI and Tianma Japan address display modules. Compare only configurations with the same responsibility boundary.
Final recommendation
Shortlist by deliverable and lifecycle responsibility, then validate two or three actual samples. A strong supplier should identify who designs, manufactures, sells and supports every part of the quoted configuration—and should commit to change control throughout the equipment program.
