Resolve Integration Risks Before Sampling

Cutout and Mounting Mismatch

A monitor can meet the display requirement and still fail to fit the equipment. Review the panel opening, rear clearance, mounting points and cable direction before the enclosure is finalized.

Touch Technology Mismatch

Gloves, styluses, moisture and multi-touch requirements affect the touch selection. PCAP and resistive touch should be compared against the actual operating method rather than selected by appearance alone.

Host Interface Mismatch

The external host must provide a compatible video output, while the touch controller must return touch data through a supported connection. Confirm both signal paths before sampling.

Unsupported Environmental Assumptions

Brightness, operating temperature and front protection vary by panel, enclosure and installation. These requirements must be confirmed at model level instead of being treated as universal product specifications.

Industrial Touch Screen Monitor FAQ

Does an industrial touch screen monitor include a computer?
No. This product provides display and touch functions and connects to an external computer, embedded controller or compatible host. CPU, memory, storage and operating systems are not included.
What is the difference between panel mount and open frame?
A panel-mount monitor is inserted through a prepared front opening and secured from behind. An open-frame monitor is installed from inside the customer’s enclosure, usually behind a custom front surface.
Should I choose PCAP or resistive touch?
Choose according to the actual input method. PCAP is suited to light-touch and multi-touch interfaces. Resistive touch is often selected for stylus, glove or simple pressure-based operation. Sample testing is recommended.
Are the monitors waterproof?
Front protection is available only on applicable configurations. The final protection level depends on the selected model, enclosure, sealing and installation method.
Can the size and enclosure be customized?
Custom display sizes, cover glass, enclosures, mounting structures and interfaces can be evaluated after reviewing the project requirements.
Can XFC provide industrial software or PLC programming?
No. XFC supplies display and touch hardware. The customer or system integrator provides the computer, operating system, HMI runtime, PLC program and application software.
What documents should I send for evaluation?
Send the required display size, installation drawing or equipment photo, touch method, host interfaces, power input, operating conditions, quantity and destination market.
Can I order a sample before batch production?
A sample configuration can be discussed after the product requirements and commercial terms are confirmed.
